Artist Point is one of Washington State’s most stunning locations for an elopement. Sitting at nearly 5,000 feet in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, it’s known for its sweeping views of Mount Shuksan and Mount Baker. The spot is less than three hours from Seattle, making it accessible while still feeling like a true mountain getaway.
Sarah and Brett chose Artist Point for their elopement, and it’s easy to see why. The surrounding peaks, alpine lakes, and winding trails offer a dramatic backdrop that doesn’t need much decorating. Being so close to the North Cascades, it combines the beauty of high alpine scenery with the convenience of nearby towns and lodging.
After their ceremony, we made our way down into the valley along the North Fork Nooksack River. The shift from high mountain views to the quiet of the river created a beautiful contrast. Jagged peaks above, rushing water and forest below. It gave their gallery two very different but equally stunning settings.
